  • Marybeth Longo
    Marybeth Longo, VMD
    Owner/Head Veterinarian

    Dr. Marybeth Longo is the co-owner of A&A Veterinary Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University and her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania school of Veterinary Medicine. While at Penn, Dr. Longo also earned a Certificate in Small Business Management from the Wharton School. She has been a part of the A&A family since 1997 when she started as a kennel assistant.  She considers herself very fortunate to have learned a great deal from her predecessors at A&A and continues to have a special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and the special medical needs of sighthounds. Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys traveling, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. 

  • Jessica Petermann-Allard
    Jessica Petermann-Allard, DVM
    Owner/Head Veterinarian

    Dr. Petermann-Allard began her career at A&A Veterinary Hospital in 1999 as a kennel assistant while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University. After graduating from Ross Veterinary School in 2006, she joined A&A as an Associate Veterinarian. Over the next 16 years, her dedication to the hospital grew, eventually leading to her role as co-owner. Dr. Petermann-Allard has a special interest in internal medicine and remains deeply committed to A&A and its loyal clients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through running!

  • Dinorah Dellacamera
    Dinorah Dellacamera, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Dinorah Dellacamera graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and completed an externship at the Animal Medical Center with a focus on small animal surgery and exotics. Since then, she has been on Long Island taking care of small animal patients and loves every minute. She can often be found logging into veterinary webinars, attending continuing ed and fostering the human animal bond connections that she has built over the years. She has also worked as an emergency Veterinarian for 10 years in Nassau County. She is a member of AVMA, NYVMA and LIVMA. When she is not at work, she likes to spend time with her family, including her four rescue cats, three rescue dogs, bearded dragon and her two teenage sons. 

  • Allison Erkman
    Allison Erkman, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Allison Erkman (aka Rassinoux) was born and raised in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville - but do not let that fool you, as she is first generation Southern, with the rest of her family being from NYC. Dr. Erkman began riding horses at the age of five, and since that time, has continued to develop her love of animals. Dr. Erkman attended the University of Tennessee - Knoxville for her undergraduate studies in Animal Science, with minors in Biology and Spanish. She graduated from veterinary school at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Dr. Erkman is very excited to work for A&A Veterinary Hospital, and meet all of the clients and pets of the area. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interests include soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology. While not in the hospital, Dr. Erkman enjoys riding and showing her horse, Kenny, on the Quarter Horse circuit, traveling with her husband, and reading. Dr. Erkman is joined in New York by her husband, Sebastien, her three dogs - April, Mae, and June, and her cat, Dr. Crusty Rusty. 

  • Shoshana Zenilman
    Shoshana Zenilman, DVM
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Shoshana Zenilman, a Long Island native, earned her B.S. in Animal Science and DVM from Cornell University. Now based in New York City, she is thrilled to travel to Franklin Square to contribute her expertise to the A&A team on the weekends. With a passion for client education, Dr. Zenilman strives to build lasting relationships with pet owners, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered in their pet care journey. She has a special interest in medicine and surgery of small mammals, including rabbits and pocket pets. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys quality time with her family and her two dogs, Oddi and Clover!
